'tis the month of St. Patrick's Day and Paul Krysak was feeling nostalgic. Seems when he was a wee lad growing up in Medicine Hat, Alberta, he attended St. Patrick's Elementary School which happened to be just down the street from St. Patrick's Church. As you might expect, St. Patrick's Day was a big deal in this neighborhood and each year the school children at St. Patrick's Elementary were marched down the street by the principal, Sister Leonawitch, to St. Patrick's Church where their contribution to the annual St. Patrick's Day concert was a rousing rendition of "Who Put the Trousers (sic) in Mrs. Murphy's Chowder". The charming thought of these sweet Alberta urchins, their voices raised in song, is sure to warm even the coldest heart. We also coined the term Nostradumbass: a nitwit whose only talent is that he can see into the past.
