A very ugly failed attempt at an indoor high dynamic range (HDR) photo. The idea behind HDR is that by taking a series of photos -- some underexposed and some overexposed -- the best bits of all can be combined into a single shot which shows detail in the shadow, mid-range and highlight areas. It usually works much better than this. Below is an HDR shot of the river valley Hizzoner took out behind The Mayor's Mansion in Silver Springs...
