Back to the hard core again this week. Some new art on the walls down at Heartland. Cosmic convergence rears its head yet again. The top pic on the wall, The Philosopher by Rembrandt, has been hanging in the Mayor's Mansion for over 25 years. You can't see it in this shot but there is a strange detail in the upper right which, if you use your imagination, looks like a scary monster looking down menacingly on the old guy reading the book (kind of like the way you could see the Devil in the Queen's hair on one of the old Canadian dollar bills). The car brochure standing up on the table is for a Nissan Versa; the KlatschMeister is car shopping and that is the current front-runner. And, speaking of cosmic convergence (or was it a ripple in the space/time continuum?) The KlatschMeister got a call from Ken Watson on Monday saying that he and Liz were getting ready to move back to Ontario. He said he was going to be in town on Tuesday and wondered if we could get together cuz he wanted to pass along his old stereo camera to me. I of course said "You bet" and (already having the current Klatsch destination on his mind -- which he is rapidly losing) suggested the Heartland. So, here were are, exactly one day back in time, on Tuesday...
