Seemed like it was gonna be too windy and chilly to sit outside at the Kaffa Coffee and Salsa House today but it turned out to be just fine. Goes to show that living on the edge can have its benefits. Bob has set up a new Web site in support of his new book (see last week's Klatsch pic). As of this writing it is still a work in progress but you can find it here. Hizzoner also wondered out loud why it takes more gas to run a car's air conditioner. His thinking is if the car's air conditioner is run by electricity and the car is making that electricity anyway (via the alternator) the air conditioning should be free. Bob's theory (which I can't remember now, cuz it was, like two hours ago or something) seemed to make sense but I'm still wondering. I have made a mental note to ask Danny when I see him. That "make a mental note" thing always works.
Mary took a short break and reported back that the lady's room has a sign in it encouraging patrons to drop a dime and turn a handle to use the facilities. She wondered if the gent's also has such a sign. Well, the gent's is chock-a-block with signs. Check 'em out...
