Here we are back in beautiful downtown Bowness at our favourite haunt in those environs, Cadence Coffee. Uppermost in the minds of all Canadians this week (or, at least some Canadians) the governmental situation -- dubbed a crisis by the crisis-happy media -- in which the Liberals, the NDP and Bloc Quebecois are scheming to form a coalition and oust the tories from government. No concensus at this table but, as some deep thinker on TV said, giving the separatists a veto in parliament seems like kind of a dumb idea. We'll see in January when parliament reconvenes. Who knew there even was such a word as prorogue? Not me.
