Well, Latin Pies and Coffee -- our intended destination for today -- may have excellent Latin pies and coffee but what they don't have is tables and chairs -- take out only. Not to be deterred from our weekly hit of caffeine, Lawrence suggested we try the Pelican Pier restaurant, just north of the pie place. Sounded like a good idea to all in attendance, so off we went. Turns out Pelican Pier is an excellent little spot. Great decor and very friendly service; I think we've found ourselves another regular venue. After we'd been there a few minutes the KlatschMeister spotted Terry Smith milling about in the parking lot and brought him in out of the chilly and snowy April weather for a cuppa. Still haven't quite got the knack of getting Terry to look at the camera -- that's me saying "Terry! Look at the camera!" Alas, I shall have to try again another day. So, all's well that ends well, as they say. And, speaking of decor, here's another little bit of it...
