A visitor from a far and distant (and much more innocent) land snaps a pic of one of our painted-up city women to show the folks back home. I expect they won't believe it.

And here's our visitor, Julia Legg from New Zealand, showing us how they eat a sandwich in that other land downunder. From the outside in, seems like.

Just can't seem to get enough of thoze toze.

Actually, they are pretty good.

News of a foreign visitor must have reached the ears of El Klatscho's ol' pal Mick who showed up on his bike. Stay tuned for more bikes.

You might have noticed Gerry's arm thingy in the previous shot. Seems he got all jazzed up on smart juice at the Science Cafe and got into a brawl with some particle physics dude. It got ugly, sub-space field harmonics were invoked (not saying who did it) and poor Gerry ended up with his arm in a thingy.

Looks like Julia doesn't care to be photographed in the company of such a collection of ruffians as us.

A free pair of 3D glasses has done the trick.

This fellow was riding by on his recumbent bicycle on his way to pick up a bevvy at Angel's and was nice enuff to show us his bike and explain some it's clever and intricate workings. For example: it has disk brakes, self-sealing tires and a little cartridge of compressed air about 2 1/2 inches long which will re-fill two flats, tilt handlebars for easy mounting and dismounting, an electronic speedometer, GPS and cell phone, a nice soft seat with an inflatable back rest and a great many gears which are all useful -- i.e. shifting up or down one gear makes a meaningful difference to how hard (or easy) it is to peddle.

This poor old thing may have been clever and intricate once upon a time, but now it's just muddy. Perhaps someone came a cropper at this location and decided to abandon his ride. Perhaps it's modern art. Who can say?

Another shot of quite a few the Klatschinator took that day. The thing was very photogenic.
